An authentic and engaging communicator, Dr. Carrie is a national speaker, life coach, and advanced practice nurse with over 15 years of experience in healthcare. She has worked primarily in the Emergency Department, and in roles as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner and Nursing Instructor. In 2017, she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Minnesota. Her most recognized work includes starting the first mobile ECMO program in Minnesota, significantly reducing falls throughout the hospital, and implementing a multi-hospital suicide-risk assessment tool.
