Paramedic David Brenner is an exd-Captain in the Holbrook Fire Department and has been providing advanced life support EMS services for over 4 decades. He is a New York State Certified Instructor/Coordinator and Regional Faculty who has taught EMT through Paramedic courses for Suffolk County EMS, Suffolk County Community College, and LaGuardia Community College. As Regional Faculty he has been training providers to be instructors for over thirty years. He holds instructor level certifications for PALS, ACLS, CPR, AMLS, PHTLS, GEMS. PTEP, Safety, and Community Paramedicine. He is particularly proud to be a co-author of the NAEMT’s Psychological Trauma in EMS Patients course. He has authored the 12-Lead ECG Made Clear and Simple course that he has presented in multiple settings. In the last 11 years, Brenner has enjoyed delivering presentations at EMS conferences across the country.
Ex-Captain Brenner has a BS in Physical Educations, an MS in Health and Physical Education, an MS in Special Education, and a Professional Degree in Educational Supervision and Administration. He has been recognized by the State University of New York’s Chancellor as a Teacher of Excellence.
