Rebecca began her EMS career in rural Wisconsin in 2007. She started on a volunteer department and eventually transitioned to a hospital-based service. Her scope of work has ranged from a frontline crew member on the ambulance to Emergency Department nurse and Trauma Coordinator at a critical access hospital in northwest Wisconsin. Rebecca has a passion for pediatrics and trauma. She was the recipient of the Wisconsin Rural Health Ambassador Award in 2019 for her dedication and significant contributions to rural healthcare. She continues to work on the ambulance and assist with special event coverage for EMS in addition to her nursing responsibilities. Rebecca is a member of the Wisconsin Emergency Medical Services for Children advisory committee and the Wisconsin State Trauma Advisory Council.
